A 4.0 V6, 3.8 V6, and 3.9 V6 Mustang walk into a bar...
...why would you advertise that you have the most sad-panda Mustang ever made? The one year where the facelifted bodystyle had the womp-womp garbage pre-facelift engines. Ugh.

That 3.9 triggers me, because it’s awful and its owner is a world class idiot.

Maybe they’re trying to have a self-deprecating sense of humor?

And are quickly shooed out by a 3.6

A 4.0 V6, 3.8 V6, and 3.9 V6 Mustang walk into a bar...
Just kidding, they oversteered through it; there were no survivors.

Where is a 3.7?

How many V6 Mustangs could you buy with the price of those three V6 Mustangs?
These are the real questions we need answers to.

Came here to comment that I saw someone with that exact badge at the last C&C. I respected their trolling.

None, they’re collectively worth $12.42

I admit to having an irrational beef that the sixer option in more modern Stangs was a succession of V6s for all these years and not ever a Barra family. It’s like... Ford. You have this great I6 that is literally a descendant of the original six in the original Mustang. Y U NO BARRA

Oversteering a V6 mustang?
Was icy out?

I seem to recall at least a few of the C&C crashes involving V6s. Stupid people don’t need V8s to spin out, just RWD and cold tires.

Newer 3.7s or older 3.8s and 3.9s?

Do people actually crash pre-fifth gens? I mean, I’ve had a bit of a negative stereotype about Mustang drivers even before it became a thing, because I used to see them skidding around every winter, but no one seems to have C&C style crashes in fox bodies.

I suppose not.
But as for seeing foxbodies sliding around all winter? I used to own a fox mustang, and sliding is litterally the only way you can get one to move in the winter. Nothing teaches you throttle control better though.

I have a theory that none of these people crashing have ever lived in a place that sees snow. I’ve never owned a car that wasn’t RWD and nothing teaches you how to instinctively react to a loss of control like a few winters in a RWD car.

Seriously. Fox bodies are shit in snow.

Isn’t it though

No kidding. I once had to pick up my friend and his sister in my ‘86 GT, she was freaking out in the back seat because I was driving everywhere sideways. I don’t think she believed me that it was the only way I could drive in the winter.
